Our Story
Salt Community Church was birthed out of the Holy Spirits’ call for one church to continue a legacy and a young pastor with a heart for helping young families to find a biblical-based community. Nearly three years ago Pastor Dillon Kimmel felt God call him from the marketplace into vocational ministry. This call would eventually lead him from a pastoral residency at Berkley Hills in Grand Rapids, MI to Maiden, NC as the planting pastor of Salt Community Church.
Early on Pastor Dillon and his Wife of 3 years, Victoria, discerned that they were being called to plant a church built on 3 strong and Holy Spirit-anointed values:
Jesus.
People.
Transformation.
